Love is in the Air

We returned to the Pavilion to present an evening of love songs spanning four centuries.

From John Bennet's 1599 madrigal Weep O Mine Eyes to Cole Porter's Begin the Beguine and stretching from Elgar to Gershwin and from Fauré to Fats Waller, this was an evening of music designed to induce sentimental feelings in anyone who has ever been in love.
