DLCS and Galway Baroque Singers are delighted to bring our first concert in our CHORAL FUSION Double-Choir series to Galway. We will be performing Handel's Solomon in Galway Cathedral, just a week after our performance in Dublin.
Universally recognised as one of Handel's finest masterpieces, Solomon features magnificent choruses, but more importantly containing rapturous love music, nature imagery, affecting emotion and the vividly portrayed dramatic scene of Solomon’s famous judgement over the disputed infant.
We are delighted to bring the same four soloists to Galway who will sing with us in Dublin - they will be named here shortly, and the choirs will again be accompanied by Fishamble Sinfonia. David Brophy conducts.
Tickets for the Galway concert are available here on Eventbrite and will also be available at the door. They cost €20 for general admission and €15 for students.
